iNN Studio Apr 2026 Monthly Report

Hey everyone! Long time no see—this is Tian from iNN Studio.

We haven’t posted a monthly update since the Chinese New Year break—Orz!!! The main reason is that we’ve had multiple projects running in parallel lately. I kept meaning to write this update, but kept forgetting… Orz 🙇

With the new year comes a lot of changes. Aside from the holiday downtime, iNN has been as busy as ever.

Rising raw material costs and shifts in user preferences have brought us unprecedented challenges—but nothing that can stop us from pushing forward.

In the year ahead, we’ll continue exploring new processes, fresh designs, and innovative product forms for the community.

In this update, you’ll find the latest and most complete info on: Deco 75DH, FLOAT 60%, Katina TKL, Veil Switch, Flo-AT R2, Veil CNY, and the ZFX Meetup Chengdu.

1. Deco 75DH

Colorways:
At the current IC2 stage, we’ve finalized four colorways:
Casio、RB5、Panda、Lava

More details will be revealed in our upcoming IC2 post—stay tuned.

Prototype Progress:

Case: Design revisions and optimizations completed; machining prototypes underway
PCB: Prototype completed; awaiting case samples for assembly validation
Dual-layer gasket system: Prototyped with 18 different combinations of thickness and softness; pending real-world testing once case samples arrive.

HUB Progress:
Development completed; currently in testing and refinement.

DAC Firmware & Driver Progress:

Feb 23: EMI testing completed; initial firmware version done.
Mar 6: Firmware improvements + UI logic update (easier high/low gain switching); web-based EQ console testing.
Mar 11: Final firmware completed; driverless DAC module; further optimization of web EQ interface.

Confirmed Features:

Supports MOONDROP web-based EQ console.
Fully customizable EQ for different use cases (music, gaming, etc.).
Launch pending.

Structural Update:

Added TOP mount structure.
(17/4/2025 Update: Due to the abnormal location, we abandoned the TOP structure.)

2. FLOAT 60%

First off—huge thanks for your patience on FLOAT 60%! We’ve been steadily pushing progress, and here’s a quick update. More details will come in the GB/instock post.

Initial In-stock Colorways:

Blood Sea (Anodized Red)
Deep Sea (Anodized Dark Blue)
Hutt (Spray-coated Pink)
Zenith (RAW)
Snow (Micro-arc White)

Production Progress:

Case: All cases and PC parts completed; awaiting post-processing
Accessories: Mostly ready, except for the keyboard carrying case.
PCB: Prototype completed on April 11; ready for mass production after validation.

Current Issues:

Micro-arc finish is failing to meet our QC standards due to surface inconsistencies → all units sent back for rework.
Hanging point (mounting/structural issue) still needs resolution.

3. Katina TKL

INT GB Progress:

International GB: Closed; awaiting data from overseas vendors
CN Pre-Order sale:
Will open before ZFX Chengdu, with tiered pricing increasing over time

Classic & Deluxe Edition:
- Apr 15 – Apr 30: +90 RMB
- May 1 – May 31: +170 RMB
- Jun 1 – Shipping: +250 RMB
Add-ons/extras remain unchanged in price

Revisions & Production:

Mar 16: Case optimization completed; added magnetic mounting points
Mar 20: Order placed with factory; awaiting production

Accessories:

All components designed except screw tray, deskmat, and freebies; pending procurement

PCB Updates:

Mar 16: PCB optimized; added magnetic pogo-pin support
Awaiting order placement

New Standard Accessory:

Heat shrink tube ×1

4. Veil Switch

This marks a brand-new exploration for us in the custom keyboard space.

With the Veil Switch, you’ll get:

Cutting-edge aesthetics enabled by new manufacturing techniques
A familiar, classic typing feel
A rich, refined sound profile

IC post coming very soon—stay tuned!

Current Progress:

Multiple manufacturers engaged for housing prototyping
Tactile feel, sound profile, and production methods have been finalized

Next Steps:

Yield rate optimization
Lubing methods
Bottom-out and friction tuning
Material fine-tuning

5. Flo-AT R2

Flo-AT received widespread praise both domestically and internationally after launch—thanks to its:

Affordable pricing
Excellent aesthetics
Impressive typing feel
Practical layout

However, due to limited R1 units, many users missed out. So we’ve decided:

👉 Flo-AT is coming back—with upgrades.

Updates:

Layout: Switchable left/right numpad module
Colorways: More iNN custom-tuned finishes

6. Veil CNY

Earlier this year, we introduced a new process:
✨ Multicolor embossed anodization

We’re planning to apply this to a Year of the Horse limited edition kit.

Current Status:

Layout under finalization
Design & prototyping will begin immediately after layout confirmation
